Sri of 'Onnaiyum Aatkuttiyum' fame is happy at the positive response he has been getting for his performance in the recently-released 'Vil Ambu'. He donned the role of a ruffian in Coimbatore.

Speaking about the film, he says, "It was an interesting movie to be part of."  He adds, "I travelled to various places in and around Coimbatore and observes people closely. I imbibed their mannerisms which helped me to pull it off convincingly."

Ask him his forthcoming movies, Sri says, "I am working on a film titled Maanagaram. It is being directed by Lokesh Kanakarajan, who is a short filmmaker." The film is an urban thriller and has Sandeep Kishen of 'Yaaruda Mahesh' (2013) fame playing the other hero. Regina Cassandra plays one heroine while a newcomer plays the other. Charlie is a cab driver in this film, which is likely to hit screens in April, he adds.
