MK asks DMK MLAs to donate one month salary

Saturday, 12 December 2015

Chennai: DMK president M Karunanidhi today urged his party MLAs to donate their one-month salary for flood relief.

It may be noted that Karunanidhi had recently visited the flood-affected areas in Varadharajapuram and Mudichur villages near Tambaram and distributed relief materials to the victims.

In Varadharajapuram in Kanchipuram district, the DMK leader distributed relief packets containing 5 kg rice, a saree, bedsheet, soap, toothpaste with brush, along with a mat, on behalf of Kanchipuram North District unit of the DMK.
