TVS to the rescue of flood victims

Chennai:  TVS Company has over the past several days been involved with the distribution of food packets to many affected victims following the floods in and around the city.

The company has distributed over 38,000 quality food packets from TVS-Sundaram Clayton factory in Padi to families in low lying areas of Ambattur, Korattur, Villiwakkam, Annanagar, Kotturpuram, Choolaimedu, Saidapet and Kattankulathur village.    Srinivasan Services Trust, the CSR arm of both TVS Sundaram Clayton and TVS Motor Company is organising this relief activity in conjunction with the Local Administration, Corporation of Chennai and Police Officials.  

More than 100 employees from TVS Company along with village panchayat leaders and police have personally carried these food packets to these regions, some of which are totally marooned and cut off.
